China on Tuesday announced a donation of 300,000 U.S. dollars to help rain-ravaged Colombia.
"To help the Colombian government with relief work, China decided to donate 300,000 U.S. dollars," Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said in a statement.
Colombia was hit by heavy downpours during the country's second rainy season, which began in September. At least 67 people were killed and 94 others were injured. Almost one million people were affected.
