Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Shanghai Sunday evening, to continue his visit to China.
He flew to Shanghai from China's Hubei Province, where he met with Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo and visited the Three Gorges Project at Yichang, another city of this province.
During the Hubei tour, China and Pakistan agreed to boost cooperation on agriculture and water conservancy, as China's Hubei Province and Pakistan signed four cooperation memorandums concerning hybrid seed, hybrid rapeseed, port engineering and friendly exchanges between Hubei and Pakistan's Sindh Province.
Shanghai is the second and final leg of Zardari's China visit. In the China's economic hub, Zardari is scheduled to communicate with financial institutions, entrepreneurs and scholars in international affair on financial cooperation between Pakistan and Shanghai.
Zardari is scheduled to leave Shanghai for home on Feb. 24.
