Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the ruling party of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) met Tuesday to discuss ways to promote relations between the two parties and their nations.
Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with the delegation of the DR Congo ruling party, the People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD), who are visiting China from July 13 to 19 at the invitation of the CPC.
Evariste Boshab, secretary general of the PPRD and speaker of the country's National Assembly, is heading the delegation.
