The South Korean government announced Friday that it re-scheduled its space rocket launch for Aug. 25.
The blastoff of the nation's first space rocket Korea Space Launch Vehicle-1 (KSLV-1) was suspended 7 minutes and 56 seconds before its scheduled time, 05:00 p.m. (0800 GMT) Wednesday, due to a drop in pressure inside a helium tank.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the new date was fixed after a thorough review of weather conditions and time needed to prepare a safe launch.
The launch will take place between 4:40 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.(0740 and 0920 GMT), the ministry added.
