Serbian President Boris Tadic left the Chinese economic hub of Shanghai on Tuesday, ending a week-long visit to China.
Before the Shanghai leg of his visit, Tadic met with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao in Beijing, and the two states signed a strategic partnership agreement.
At business forums held in Beijing and Shanghai, Tadic invited Chinese investors to Serbia. He also visited Xi'an.
It was the first official visit by a Serbian head of state since it announced independence in 2006.
