A picture album marking the relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the People's Republic of China was published here Thursday.
The album, the first in the history of the bilateral ties, was published by DPRK's Foreign Languages Publisher.
It collected plenty of pictures dated from the war of anti-Japanese aggression to present day.
"China and the DPRK have struggled ahead with hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder since they established relations 60 years ago," said Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, in a ceremony held in Pyongyang.
"The China-DPRK friendly relations are not only in accord with the basic interests of the two peoples, but also beneficial to the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and North East Asia," Liu added.
Choe Gyong Guk, head of the Foreign Languages Publisher, said that it was the DPRK's unshakable will to further consolidate and develop the DPRK-China relations created by the elder generations.
