Adjust font size:

Two hundred Japanese high school students are to visit China from June 12 to 18 as part of a student exchange program between the two countries.

Invited by China-Japan Friendship Organization, the students from Japan's Osaka, Aomori, Ehime and Nara prefectures, will visit four Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and Hangzhou.

They are expected to attend exchange activities with Chinese students, and visit ordinary Chinese families.

The exchange is part of the youth exchange program started last year by the two governments. To date 200 Japanese students have visited China and 1,300 Chinese students have been to Japan.
