A photo exhibition named "Chinese People's life Through Lens"
was inaugurated in New Delhi, capital of Indian on Thursday
evening.
Organized by China Society for Human Rights Studies and
co-organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in
India and Indian Unity International, the exhibition will display
160 photos about people's life in China from July 26 to Aug. 3.
"For Indian people who can not go to China, they can through
this exhibition know about China's progress and the activities of
Chinese people," said Dr. A. R. Kidwai, governor of Indian northern
state of Haryana, adding that the younger generation of the two
countries should know more about each other.
"Now let's bring you closer to China, into this wonderful land,
and together let's experience a country both of a long history and
modernity, and perceive the simple and real life of modern Chinese
people," said a statement of the photo exhibition.
