China advocates peaceful solution to Iran nuclear issue
Adjust font size:

Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang reaffirmed on Thursday that China advocates a peaceful solution to the Iran nuclear issue through diplomatic means.

China hopes that all concerned parties, under the current situation, should show more flexibility and give full consideration on each other's concerns, Qin said at a regular news conference.

The spokesman urged that negotiations should be resumed at an early date so as to seek a lasting, proper and comprehensive solution to the Iran nuclear issue.

China has received from Iran a package of proposals on its nuclear issue, and is studying the proposals carefully, Qin said, without elaboration.
