Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks on Tuesday in Beijing
with his Norwegian counterpart Jonas Gahr Stoere. Both sides had an
in-depth exchange of views on bilateral relations and issues of
mutual concern.
Yang said the current China-Norway relations develop well with
frequent exchanges of high-level visits and sound coordination in
international and regional issues.
Bilateral cooperation in economy and trade, climate change,
environmental protection, polar studies, culture and education has
been deepened, he said.

China appreciates Norway's adherence to the one-China policy and
will make joint efforts with Norway to advice bilateral relations,
Yang said.
Stoere said Norway hopes to promote bilateral economic and trade
ties through Free Trade Area negotiation and taking part in the
Shanghai World Expo.
Norway also seeks to step up cooperation with China in the areas
of climate change, environmental protection and sustainable
development, Stoere added.
Stoere is scheduled to visit China from January 28 to 30, at the
invitation of Yang.
