British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is under fresh pressure from opposition parties over the Iraq war with the Conservatives calling for a Privy Council inquiry into the "origins and conduct" of the war and the Liberal Democrats demanding for an "early and full" withdrawal of British troops.
The Conservatives call for a comprehensive Iraq war inquiry. Its shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague said on Sunday the fifth anniversary of the war was the right time for a full probe.
