Turkish army attacks Kurdish rebels in N. Iraq

Turkish army on Monday morning hit the Kurdish rebel hideouts in neighboring northern Iraq, according to the Turkish military sources.

The sources said that Turkish army had carried out an air operation inside northern Iraq against the targets of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) after 15 soldiers of the Turkish security forces were killed at Friday's PKK attack in Hakkari province in southeastern Turkey.
