Japan: China submits draft joint document for six-party talks
Adjust font size:

China submitted a draft joint document to the chief negotiators' meeting on Saturday morning, Japan's head delegate to the six-party talks Kenichiro Sasae said.

"All parties discussed this draft document at today's meeting and have taken it back for study, so there are no meetings this afternoon," Sasae told reporters when returning to his hotel.

He refused to reveal the contents of the draft.

On the following agenda, Sasae said China would hold a dinner party Saturday evening.

Sasae also said the Japanese delegation did not have meeting with the North Korean delegation on Saturday.
