Israeli forces arrested 11 Palestinians in West Bank during raids and search operations in the occupied territory, Palestinian and Israeli sources said on Thursday.
Seven Palestinians were arrested in al-Dehisha refugee camp in the holy city of Bethlehem, the Palestinian sources said. Two of the detainees were teenagers wounded by the soldiers when the troops entered the camp in the dawn.
The Israeli sources said the army arrested four others in otherparts of the West Bank. It explained that five of the people arrested in Bethlehem were members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
The Israeli army storms the West Bank cities and refugee camps on daily basis and conduct arrests among Palestinians it considerswanted by the Israeli intelligence services.
The detentions take place despite improving security cooperation between Israel and the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).
The Palestinians say the Israeli acts in West Bank, including the expansion of settlements and the raids into the Palestinian controlled areas, weaken the peace talks between the sides.
