Adjust font size:

At least 41 people were killed and 95 others injured in fresh clashes between warring tribes in northwestern Pakistan's Kurram tribal agency on Sunday.

The clashes between Bangash and Turi tribesmen have lasted for more than 20 days. The fierce clashes killed at least 41 people including 30 militants on Sunday, local Geo TV channel reported.

Reports said the Bangash tribe has the support of local militants.

The clashes have forced thousands of local people to flee their houses and seek refuge in nearby areas.
