Yu signed a surrogacy agreement with a Jiangsu businessman in 2008. According to the contract, Yu would get 500,000 yuan if she gave birth to a girl and 600,000 yuan for a boy. Yu had a miscarriage four months into the pregnancy and only received 5,000 yuan for compensation. |
