Swearing can ease pain -- but for habitual swearers that pain relief quickly wears off. |

A new study suggests that swearing can relieve pain -- but only if you don't curse regularly in everyday life, the Daily Mail reports.
Previous studies have shown that letting fly with a few choice expletives can ease pain. But the experiment showed the more often people swear in daily life, the less extra time they could stand the pain, according to Keele University researchers.

据英国《每日邮报》报道,心理学家称咒骂可以缓解疼痛,但是对于习惯每天爆粗口的人来说就不管用了。
