Having bright red lips, overly made-up eyes and too much blusher were seen as the biggest sins in the workplace, according to a survey by officerbroker.com, the Daily Mail reported.
Striking lipstick emerged as the most unappealing look, with 32 per cent of managers questioned saying they found strong colors too much for the office.
Overly made-up eyes polled 28 per cent of the vote, while 15 per cent said too much blusher was a turn off.
Twelve percent of bosses said they liked women to wear some make-up to work.
