A man surnamed Li was severely injured in a parcel blast on February 6 in Guangzhou City in what turned out to be a revenge attack, the New Express reported.

Mr Li received the parcel, which was labeled as a bottle of perfume, as an apparent gift from an auto 4S shop where he bought his car.

However, just as Mr Li was about to open the parcel, it exploded, causing injuries which could leave him blind.

The suspect, who was arrested Wednesday, confessed that he sent the bomb due to the fact that Mr Li used to date his ex-girlfriend.

据《新快报》报道，2月6日，广州男子李某所收的包裹发生爆炸，其身受重伤。事后查明，该案竟是一名男子寻仇所为。

李某收到某汽车4S店寄来的礼包，包裹上写的是“香水”。据悉，他此前曾在该店购车。

但正当他要打开包裹时，它就爆炸了，而受伤的李某很可能因此失明。

另据，犯罪嫌疑人周三已被抓，他供认说自己之所以要邮寄炸弹，是因为李某曾和自己的前女友约会。
