Nigerian football team coach Samson Siasia said on Thursday that there were no injury worries in camp ahead of Saturday's Olympic men's football final between his team and Argentina in Beijing, local media reported on Friday.
Nigeria defeated Belgium 4-1 on Tuesday to reach the final while Argentina humiliated bitter rivals Brazil 3-0 on the same day to hit the stage.
Siasia said his boys were ready for the challenge, assuring the nation of victory.
"We are working hard to get it right on Saturday. No injuries, no suspension and the players are in high spirits.
"The boys are determined to do it and I believe with that kind of focus, we'll smile after the match," he said.
Siasia told the Nigerian press that the team went straight to business after arriving in Beijing from Shanghai on Tuesday.
"We simply dropped our bags at the hotel and went straight to training. As I speak with you (on the telephone on Thursday), we are at the stadium training and I believe things are going right for us to achieve our goal here in Beijing," he added.
The former Super Eagles striker, who scored for Nigeria in its 2-1 defeat to Argentina at the USA '94 World Cup, said he was not bothered about the threat surely to be constituted by Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero on Saturday, claiming that his team had mapped out plans to stop them.
