Four high-speed trains, the first of their kind made only for sightseeing during the Beijing Olympics, have rolled off production line recently, manufacturer said on Thursday.

The Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) trains, which will only serve the rail line between urban Beijing and the Badaling section of the Great Wall, were unveiled at the yard of the Beijing-based China South Locomotive and Rolling Stock Corporation Ltd..
The trains have a maximum speed of 160 km per hour and seat 466 passengers. It only take 80 minutes to reach Badaling, nearly a half of the time compared with the old models.

The rail cars feature large viewing areas and rotating seat to provide an ideal vantage point for sightseers. They are also handicap-friendly with toilets for the disabled.
