China, Greece confident about success of Beijing Olympics

On Monday, Greek President Karolos Papoulias met Liu Qi the President of the Beijing Organizing Committee.

Papoulias says he is concerned about China's efforts in preparing for the games. Liu Qi says China hopes to learn from the 2004 Olympics held in Athens. And China is willing to enhance cooperation and exchanges with various communities in Greece to further improve the friendship between the peoples.
Papoulias and Liu both voiced their confidence in Beijing's ability to successfully hold the 2008 Olympics in August.
