Torch visits Kaili for second stop in Guizhou

Gymnast Lin Li left set off from Upper Langde Miao Village in Kaili at 8:15 a.m. as the first torchbearer in this second leg of the torch relay in Guizhou Province.

Upper Langde Miao Village is part of the Qian Dongnan Autonomous Prefecture. The relay will cover 7.8 kilometers via 208 torchbearers and end at the Kaili Ethnic Stadium with Liao Shaohua, party chief of Qian Dongnan Autonomous Prefecture, as the last torchbearer.

The chosen relay route highlights the harmony and unity of the prefecture's people, who represent 33 ethnic groups, including Miao, Dong, Buyi, Zhuang, Shui, Tujia and Han.
