Olympic torch relay starts in rain in oil city

The Olympic flame continued its journey in China's northernmost province Heilongjiang on Saturday, with the torch being relayed in Daqing, China's largest oil field.

The relay got underway at 8:20 a.m. at the historical museum of Daqing oil field despite rain fall.

Located in the Songnen Plain, Daqing, which is known as "oil city", is an important base of petroleum and petrochemistry in China.
