A security drill has been held on the water off the northeastern coastal city of Dalian. Some vessels at the port will join the security efforts for the Olympic sailing events that will be held in Qingdao in Shandong Province.

Liaoning coast guard An Huanren said, "We arrested the terrorists in fifty minutes during the drill. It has helped improve our ability to fight acts of terrorism."
Vessels in the drill will participate in the seaborne security efforts during the Beijing Olympics when the sailing event is held in Qingdao.
