The Olympic torch relay in Tibet has been rescheduled for June 21.
The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG) made the announcement on Tuesday.
The Tibet leg will now start from the Tibetan capital city of Lhasa on Saturday.
According to the previous plan, the torch would arrive in Tibet on Thursday and leave on Saturday. BOCOG made the changes because of the May 12th earthquake, which devastated the southwest region of China.
