Blue roses named "SUNTORY blue rose APPLAUSE" are shown at a press conference unveiling the flowers that Suntory Holdings said to be the world's first roses with nearly 100 percent blue pigment in the petals in Tokyo, Japan, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.
