Scientists board the Chinese scientific research ship Dayang Yihao, or Ocean One, before its departure in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, Dec. 8, 2010. Dayang Yihao set sail here Wednesday, starting a 376-day global trip across the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans, with its research mission on hot liquid sulfides and deep-sea biological diversity. This was China's 22nd deep-sea scientific research mission and the third global voyage of Dayang Yihao. A total of 431 scientists joint the research in different phases of the voyage. [Xinhua]
