Children celebrate upcoming Dragon Boat Festival

Kindergareners stage a spoken drama about Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet in China's Warring States Period (475 B.C.- 221 B.C.), and dragon boat racing in Yangzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, June 3, 2011. It is an age-old tradition for the Chinese people to run dragon boat races, eat glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves and make silk decorations such as pouches and bracelets to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu, which falls upon June 6 in 2011.
