Swans are captured on the River Thames in southeast England on Monday, July 18, during "Swan Upping." The historic ceremony dates from the 12th century, when the crown claimed ownership of all mute swans and passes through Middlesex, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.[Xinhua/AFP Photo]
