41 people killed in highway bus fire

Forty-one people were killed and six were injured in a bus fire July 22, 2011 in Xinyang City, central China's Henan Province. The dead bodies were carbonized and could only be identified through DNA tests. The fire on the bus with 35 sleeper berths started at 4 a.m on a section of the Beijing-Zhuhai Highway in Xinyang. The injured were being treated in a local hospital.
