The waters of the Yangtze (Chang Jiang) river near Chongqing municipality in central China have taken on a bright red hue. Although the exact cause is still under investigation, authorities believe the color change is due to red silt flowing from the section upstream of the city. The Yangtze river is the longest river in Asia and third largest in the world. [Photo/cqnews]
