Serfs' Emancipation Day in Tibet

Tibetan herdsmen wave the national flag while watching a performance to celebrate the 54th Serfs Emancipation Day in Nyainrong county, Nagqu prefecture, Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, on March 26, 2013. The annual Serfs Emancipation Day is held on March 28 to commemorate the 1959 democratic reform in Tibet, which ended feudal serfdom and freed about one million Tibetan serfs. [Photo/Xinhua]
