Jeffrey Lehman, founding deputy chancellor of New York University, Shanghai, was hired by China’s State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs as a consultant for inviting foreign experts to give proposals, at a symposium yesterday in Beijing. Lehman has made many valuable proposals on China’s public university reform.
