China welcomes expats' suggestions

A symposium for the foreign experts' proposal program was held on January 21, 2014 in Beijing by China's State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs (SAFEA). More than 70 Chinese and overseas experts attended the meeting, including 54 foreign experts from 22 countries. Since 2012, nearly 100 foreign experts have put forward suggestions and joined China's policy making and key projects. Fifteen written proposals from them have been sent and viewed by top Chinese leaders. [China.org.cn/ By Guo Xiaohong]
