Annually, villagers collect and fire tea before Qingming Festival in order to ensure a good price. Most of West Lake Longjing tea collected and fired before Qingming is Longjing 43 and can attract prices between 1,000 to 5,000 yuan (US$160 to 258) per Jin (500 gram).
