Editor's note: In the past six decades, China has been a major contributor to African development. From the East African Plateau to the West African Coast, from landlocked countries in the Sahara Desert to small island states in the south, China's aid projects, including railway, port, conference center, stadium and library construction, have become major landmarks on the developing continent, benefiting the economy and people's overall well-being.
