The main attraction at the Corinthians' first team training on Friday was the recently signed superstar, Ronaldo.
Due to the large turnout of fans and the media to watch Ronaldoin his first training, the team had to adopt special protective measures to guarantee the security of Ronaldo and the team's facilities.
National and international press agencies were present at Sao Jorge Park to witness the return of Ronaldo to Brazilian soccer.
The team spent most of their time during their first session inside of the gym as well as undergoing physical tests of strength.

During the 2008 season, photographers and media personnel were allowed to enter the facility with ease. However, due to the arrival of Ronaldo, a protective glass window was installed to prohibit the access those not related to the team. Due to the hugeglass window, fans and the media were pressed up against the glassin order to get a view of Ronaldo.
After the tests of strength, the players went to the field to jog and have their first collective practice. After jokes and laughs among old friends of the team, everyone welcomed Ronaldo tohis new team.
Fans filled the stadium seats to watch Ronaldo interact with his new teammates. After the practice was over, the Corinthians staff restricted the press access to the lobby where players entered and left the facility.
