Six minor league players in the Dominican Summer League were suspended for 50 games by Major League Baseball on Friday after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.

The players are shortstop Alvaro Aristy of San Diego; and pitchers Jose Batista of the Arizona, Francis Moreta of the New York Yankees, Felix Ramirez of Houston, Ramon Reyes of the Chicago Cubs, Derlin Soriano of the New York Mets.
