World number one Roger Federer and Spanish ace Rafael Nadal both will make appearance at the Montreal Masters next week.

Tournament director Eugene Lapierre said he was happy to have 19 of the top 20 players confirmed their participation in the tournament celebrating its 30th anniversary.

New dad Federer would return to competition one month after his wife gave birth to twin girls Charlene Riva and Myla Rose.

Federer has bagged a record 15 Grand Slam titles after winning at Wimbledon in July.
