Li Zhesi of China won the women's 50m freestyle at the 5th East Asian Games in Hong Kong on Thursday.

Li clocked 24.68 seconds to win the gold, followed by her teammate Tang Yi in the second place at 25.49. The bronze medal was taken by Hannah Jane Arnett Wilson of Hong Kong, China at 25.
