Eighth-seeded Michael Llodra of France defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 7-5, 6-2 to win the Eastbourne ATP International tennis on Saturday.
Llodra, who ranked 46th in the world, savored his victory in 76 minutes for his second grass trophy.
"This is a special win for me," said Llodra after winning a final which was interrupted for 30 minutes in the second set by rain and concluded in more showers.
Llodra won the opening set against his fifth-seded opponent with a break in the last game and broke twice more in the second set on the way to the fourth trophy of his career.
