Tottenham Spurs announced on Tuesday that team manager Harry Redknapp has extended his contract to 2013.
"The club is delighted to announce we have extended the contract of manager Harry Redknapp until 2013," said the Premier League side in a statement on the club's website.
The 63-year-old Englishman, whose deal was due to expire next year, took charge at White Hart Lane in October 2008 when Spurs were bottom of the Premier League.
Apart from guiding the team to avoid relegation, Redknapp led the Spurs to finish fourth last season, the club's highest league finish since the Premier League's inception.
Tottenham will line up in the Champions League playoffs next month, which is the first time for the London-based club.
