China's National Beach Handball Championship will kick off in Haiyang city of east China's Shandong Province Monday, announced the organizers in a press conference Sunday.

The beach handball championship, attracting seven teams from Jiangsu, Beijing, Anhui, People's Liberation Army (PLA), Shandong and Hong Kong, China, will last for three days.

The teams will play in a round-robin format and the team with the highest points will clinch the gold medal.
