5. Breaking the club record

On Feb. 15, 2009, with a volleyed goal against Sporting de Gijon, Raul collected his 308th goal for Real Madrid, breaking the long-standing club record, previously held by Alfredo di Stefano. He became the most active La Liga goal scorer with 227 of his 322 goals scored in La Liga matches.
