Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain won the Thailand Open men's singles title on Sunday, beating Jarkko Nieminen of Finland 6-4, 3-6 and 6-4.
Garcia-Lopez who toppled Rafael Nadal in the semifinal, squandered three match points in the final game before unleashing a cross-court return winner for his second ATP Tour title.
Winning the title in one and 45 minutes, the 53rd-ranked Spaniard has a 2-1 record in finals, winning his only previous title in Kitzbuhel in 2009.
