Portugal and Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo has become a father, local media reported on Sunday.
Correio da Manha newspaper said Ronaldo post an announcement on both his Twitter and Facebook account and the sources close to Ronaldo's agent had confirmed the news.
The post said that Ronaldo has "recently become a father" while Gestifute, the company which is run by the player's agent, confirmed the news.
The paper didn't name the mother but said that the child will remain in Ronaldo's care.
The 25-year-old Ronaldo, who became the world's most expensive player last year, had a disappointing World Cup journey as Portugal was knocked out by Spain in the last 16.
