Eight of the 11 Chinese competitors of the Dakar Argentina-Chile Rally 2011 continue in the competition when six out of the 13 stages have been completed.
The best placed Chinese competitor is Zhou Yong of Nissan team, who is located in the 22nd place of cars, while in trucks Li Yang of MAN is ranked in 26th place.
Following are the places of the Chinese competitors at the Dakar Rally:
CARS:
22: Zhou Yong-Sylvain Poncet/Nissan/Team Great Wall, at 11:31. 09 from the leader Carlos Sainz.
25: Zhou Yuande-Du Taiguang/Mitsubishi/Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank Team China, at 12:19.12.
52: Jiang Yaohuan-Lu Yi Yu/Chery/Colcar Racing Team, at 20:37. 06.
54: Liu Kun-Maurizio Dominella/Chery/Colcar Racing Team, at 22: 07.18.
Ma Jun Kun-Sebastien Delaunay/Mitsubishi/Yunnan Xiongfeng Automobile and Motorcyc left the competition in the 6th stage.
Guo Hongzhi-Denis Schurger/Nissan/Vialco left it in the 3rd stage.
Lu Ningjun-Roberto Di Persio/Chery/Rely-Double Star Tire Team left it in the 1st stage.
MOTORBIKES:
77: Su Wenmin/Jincheng, at 10:27.37 from leader Marc Coma.
125: Han Baohua/Jincheng.
TRUCKS:
26: Li Yang, Pascal Paturaud and Franck Maldonado/MAN/Sarl Sodicars, at 4:31.08 from leader Firdaus Kabirov.
Huang Ho Chen, Hsiao Ko Guang y Roland Hoebke/Renault/Roc Taiwan 100, ended the 6th stage without an specific place.
