Bayern kept it bowling and doubled the lead through youngster striker Thomas Mueller who overcame Julio Cesar with a well-placed shot from inside penalty area to stun Inter Milan before the break.

After the interval, Inter midfielder Wesley Snijder shocked pressing Bayern with the 2-2 equalizer at the 63rd minute. Inter Milan took the chance after a blackout by Bayern defense at the 88th minute to punish the host for their easygoing with a hammer from 16 meters by striker Goran Pandev.
It is the second time Bayern lost to Inter Milan in an important Champions League matches, Inter already defeated Bayern at the last years' Champions League final.
