Defending champion the United States got the second win by beating Kazakhstan 25-15, 25-21 abd 25-12 on Saturday, the second day of the women's volleyball Grand Prix in Luohe, a small city of central China's Henan Province.
The United States who ranks second in the FIVB list, has a number of players competing at the top level in Europe and the America. Almost all the key players showed up in the match such as Foluke Akinradewo, Hodge Megan and Hooker Destinee, and they scored 55 points in the winning match over Serbia on Friday.
Kazakhstan is making its impact on the world arena as most of its players are very young, considered as the weakest team in pool D of the Grand Prix.
During the first set, the American women showed their fierce prowess with powerful spikes while the Kazak players seemed to be out of rhythm.
With a flying start of 6-1, the United States didn't give any chance to Kazakhstan.
The Kazak women showed their courage and skills during the second set as they staged many an attacks to wear down the defending champion who only managed to walk away after their 20th point to win the second with their spikes.
Since then, the Americans continued their domination and enjoyed another flying start to seal the match without any suspensiion.
On Sunday, the United States will play against China.
